Hi Michelle & Kim!
Riley is doing great – his kennel cough is all gone and he’s full of puppy energy now! Potty training is going well. He has decided that he doesn’t like his crate much and prefers to be confined to the kitchen when we go out . . . that is when he’s not cruising around in the car with us! He LOVES playing fetch with a tennis ball. He’s losing baby teeth like crazy and really enjoys his chewy sticks. Riley’s doing pretty well on a leash, likes to visit the canal near our house and doesn’t even mind having his paws wiped when he comes in from outside. He’s a pretty quiet boy, but when he REALLY wants something (like to go outside) he lets out a little half-howl . . . so we sometimes call him “Riley Coyote”! He’s a lover dog who gives lots of kisses and just wants to be around people. Alex says his tail is his “happy meter” and it’s always wagging!! Here is with his best friend in the whole world . . . when Danny goes to a friend’s house Riley lays by the door and waits for him to return!
He’s gained almost 10 pounds since we got him and is going to the vet’s office in a couple of days to get weighed and get heartworm meds. We’ll send periodic updates and photos of Riley. Thanks so much for all of your support – ARRF is so amazing and wonderful!

Molly (Quala) is doing great! She is still being potty trained,
(it's a good thing we have hard wood floors). Molly is great with the cats, and the family. She is SO WONDERFUL. Thank you so much for giving us such a GREAT dog.

Keebler did pretty well last night. He cried for about an hour after we put him in his crate but after that, slept all through the night. And he had no accidents in his crate! He took his medicine this morning pretty well, too.
I will definitely keep you updated as we start training him. He is so smart! He handled the stairs in our house without a problem and was starting to understand "sit" and "fetch." Jeff and I couldn't be happier.
