Hi Jenny: Thanks for the e-mail. It was a pleasure to meet you, Kim and the rest of your All Rovers Crew.
The trip home was great. Cooper did some growling but I haven't heard anymore of that since we got home last night. He is a nice dog. We love him!
It's been a very busy 48 hours for Cooper. We spent the night before last in Niagra Falls, Ontario. We'd never seen them before. Magnifico!!!! We were the only ones there with a dog. That was surprising! I got a great picture my son Skyler and Cooper Jay in front of the Falls. My daughter took my camera this evening so I'll try to send it to you tomorrow. They look so beautiful together that it might be a nice "success story" ad for your rescue club. Please give our regards to Annie and thanks to all of you for your good work.
I'll be in touch. Until then..... Warm regards,
Marcia, Skyler, Devin, Orion and ........COOPER JAY

Dear Kim, I wanted to let you know how our boy has taken to, and has been received, in his new home. I must tell you we loved him instantly; but when we got him home for the real test - how he would be received by our 10 year old Golden Retriever “Bo” – it was MAGIC! Immediately he was welcomed by Bo; and even our neighbor dogs rushed out to meet and greet their new neighbor. He has been perfect, Kim, and the entire, expanded family loves him already. Actually, I kept waiting for something – a bad habit, a naughty behavior – something to occur – but he minds, has wonderful manners, is very smart, and he, too, seems to love his new home, and canine and human family. He is very well mannered, listens to commands, loves being loved, and whoever had him before, I believe was loving toward him and taught him some very good things. We couldn’t be more pleased, and I can tell you our Bo seems happier and much more animated with his new companion, a little brother. Finally, he has been named “Ripley” – who believe it or not – is home! Thank you for everything.
Sincerely, Brenda

This puppy was named Red when he was with us. Now his name is Blue. This is Blue with one of his new mommies.
I have to tell you - when we left Ohio, I thought, this is going to be a ride to remember. And it was. Blue curled up next to Veronica, put his head on her lap, and slept the entire two hour ride. I had to wake him up. He's an extraordinary dog already. He's as smart as can be. He can fetch a ball and learned quickly to stay away from the cat (who will be sorry in a few months that he greeted Blue with a bop on the head). My Brittany was terrified of Blue and ran out of the room. He's doing much better now, though.
Blue has already learned that he prefers beds and can scramble up on to the couch. His method of getting down is a little bit on the flop-and-fall side, but he doesn't want help. His days are so far filled with pooping and running side-ways. Dogs: the gods of frolic.
Many thanks to you for our wonderful new boy,
Linda |

Hi I was looking through your site (just looking as we have 3 adopted weims) and I saw our baby Rocket. he is on Page 5. I wanted to fill in the rest of the story...
Almost a year ago we met our 3rd son. A skinny weim with holes the doctor had to leave open for drainage. He had worms so bad they were eating through him. He was scheduled to die when you... ARRF came to his rescue. We had seen him on the website and went to the adoption event, unfortunately he was gone.. I was sad but happy he was adopted. That night I got a call the people had returned him, they said he marked on their new wall,,, (it seemed this boy couldnt get a fair shake) The next day Rocket came to live with us.
He came in and started to mark the couch I told him NO, and he never did it again. I think he thought it was a good idea since there were 2 other boys that looked like him. He needed to claim something for his own...lol
He has found his place here with us and seems so HAPPY. We LOVE him so much and are so grateful to have him. This boy is so smart and so wonderful, it breaks my heart that people didnt love him until you found him.
Thank you for caring about my boy. And I know Rocket thanks you too.

Kim,
Morgan (formerly Miss Snazzy Star), and Molly(formerly Kensington) are doing great. They have adjusted to their older brother, Miller (9 month
old shepard mix). Although at times, just like the kids, he pesters them a little too much and we have to separate them. I know when the girls get
bigger, they’ll get him back.
Housebreaking is going pretty well also. Still an occasional accident, but both are learning very quickly.
Unfotunately they are all being treated for kennel cough. The two little ones starting showing signs(coughing, sneezing) a week after we brought them
home, the Miller caught it. The vet is treating all 3 and we’re hoping it clears up soon.
Each of the 3 kids have picked a favorite, Devin
fell in love with Morgan, Ty picked out Molly, and Kyle decided since he is the oldest and Miller is the big brother that they fit together.
Sincerely, Sue |
