Hi Jenny, The ride home
went well. She didn't want to settle down for maybe the first 20
minutes, but after that she laid on the seat and mostly slept. She is a
very sweet little girl!! She seems to think the puppy pads are a toy or
something, drug one around the house and then proceeded to shred it!
She has had a few accidents, but I have found if as soon as she wakes
up I scoop her up and put her outside she is much better. So, I guess I
am getting the training!! She had a lot of fun the first couple times I
took her out, playing with dried up leaves and exploring. It's
enjoyable looking at the world through the eyes of a puppy. She didn't
seem to want to respond to her name, so I tried out some different
ones, and she seemed to like Sami, so now she is Sami Mae, all my dogs
have had Mae as a middle name. She slept really well last night, the
alarm clock ticking does seem to work. She did wake me up this morning
about 5:30 whining. So, I put my shoes on, and took her out, right away
she pooped, so at least she seems to kind of understand that. She has
been so entertaining!! I thought I had puppy proofed pretty good. Well,
I no longer have any throw rugs on the floor. My plants now have
cardboard circles over the dirt so she can dig in it. And yesterday, I
heard this rattling and thought, ok, what's she up to. I went into the
living room and didn't see her, heard the rattle again and said "Sami
where are you?" This little black head pokes itself out of the mesh
screen in front of my gas fireplace!! Now, I have a cardtable in front
of the opening. I never know what she will do next. The housebreaking
is coming along, she is having fewer accidents, still wants to drag the
puppy pads around the house and chew them up. But she is making
progress. Thank you so much once again for letting me have her in my life!! Liz

Jenny,
Just a quick note to say thank you! Apple is a great addition to our
family. She is great with the boys and she has settled in nicely. She
even slept the entire night in her new bed and endured a 2 hour car
ride to meet my parents! We are very happy too. We had planned to wait
longer to get a new dog, but I just missed having one around and I knew
the boys would love to have one who wanted to play. Thanks again! The Gump Family

Jenny, Just wanted to
update you on Stella! ( formerly Ariana ) She went to the vet today and
is up to 13.6 pounds! She loves to eat! She is eating well, and we call
her "Miss Piggy" since she likes to sneak food from her big brother Jed
and the kitties too! She's done really well with housebreaking, but
still piddles a little in the house still. She's earned the nickname
"Puddles"! Stella and Jed are getting along wonderfully! We noticed
that Jed was really lonely without another dog around, and Stella's
really helped him out! Jed is staying outside more, and seems to play
more since he has a playmate. Jed is protective of Stella, and will
grab her collar and pull on her if she tries to go places she's not
supposed to, or if she is not listening to come inside. Stella did get
out of our gate one day and Jed barked his head off to get our
attention and she came right back. We've since fixed the gate! Tell
Apple that Stella is being a good girl, and is very spoiled! She has
her own blankies and toys and is having a great time! Attached is a
picture of Jed and Stella together. They love to ham it up! Thanks again for Stella! She's been a wonderful addition to the family! Melanie

Oh, my goodness; are we
ever in love with this sweetie!!! He has warmed right up to all of us.
He's not the least bit timid or aggressive. Just 100% lover!!! He's has
such a great time today "bouncing" in the snow. He slept in our laundry
room last night. Never made a peep, and just bounced out to greet me
this morning with a big kiss. My son's face lit up today when he came
home from the airport. Zack proceeded to follow him up the stairs and
lay on his bed while Jimmy unpacked. It was just precious. He ate well
last night. I cooked some rice and added it to is food. He had diarrhea
once in the afternoon yesterday, but has been fine today. We are so
happy to have him as part of our family. He's just a blessing!!! Thank
you for taking care of him!!!! We wish you a blessed Christmas! Cindy |

Hello to you both. I am not
sure if Tom has let you know about Bailey lately so I thought I would
update you both. It has been 3 months since he has been with us. He has
adapted very well. He knows all the boundaries outside, when he has to
go to the kennel, stay out of the kitchen when we are eating, bedtime,
lets us know when he needs out, is wonderful with the children. He is
doing well. Revia has either decided that it wasn't worth it to not
like him or figured out that he is going to be here for sometime so she
has given in!!!!!!!! They play together and run together and have a
ball. They have a rope to play tug-of-war, a soccer ball that they have
destroyed playing catch and chasing each other with. They are doing
wonderful. Revia lets him know when it is enough, sometimes he listens,
sometime he doesn't. Our home is one big happy home. He fits in well. I
was pleased to see the day they started to play and get along so I
wanted to pass the information along. I hope things are going well for
both of you. Keep up the wonderful work you do. Lisa and Tom

Bubba is the best dog I
have ever known. He is great in the house, even while I’m at work. He
gets along with all my animals and loves people. We play fetch and tug
a war. He gets a plugged up snotty nose after he has been a sleep for a
while, but I'm giving him his meds. I can't thank you enough I will
send pics soon. I am so happy with him.

Hi, I adopted the little
terrier mix named Tuck. Just to let you know, I am thrilled with him.
He is the sweetest little dog and loves to cuddle - just what I was
looking for.
I work as a nurse at a nursing home and take him to work with me
sometimes he loves the residents and they love him - so not only does
he make me smile, he makes them smile too. Thanks for picking me to
adopt him
Jane
